HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Frank Arnold Conforti, of Hyde Park, died Nov. 29. He was 89.

Born Feb. 3, 1927, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of the late Michael and Carmela Tirelli Conforti and brother to Sue Szczypca (his twin sister), Michael, Anna Digilio and Carmela Elderkin. 

He worked nights and weekends often accompanied by his sons Michael and Frank. His children remember family trips to the beach, playing board games in the evening and trips to the drive-in.

He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Mullen, Maria Bocchino (Terry), Dolores Croft (Dennis), Michael, Rosemary Tervenski (Mark), Anna, Frank Conforti (Ellen); 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Anna; brothers, Gilbert and Mario; and daughter, Anna.

Calling hours will take place from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Sweet's Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday at Regina Coeli Church, 2 Harvey St., Hyde Park. Interment with military honors will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, 171 Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie.
